Compass Bad Art NIght 2.0

March 10 / 6-9 PM

"For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me..." Matthew 25:35. This year Compass is working with Calvert Community Churches Food Pantry to help feed the local community. All Compass students (and friends, grades 6-12) are welcome! We will be painting a still life painting. Not an artist? Not a problem! We will be going step by step in the creative process! There will be snacks, a guest speaker, and a focus on why we are called to give. This is a FREE event, but please be sure to register so we order adequate supplies. All paintings will be featured in a student art show in April and returned thereafter.

HOW it Works, How you can help!

  • SIGN UP! This event is FREE but space is limited. Please sign up above by March 3, this way we order enough supplies.
  • BRING A FRIEND! This is great opportunity to invite someone from school or sports team, be sure to register them!
  • BRING A NON-PERISHABLE ITEM. We are asking each student to bring ONE item (from pantry donation list, below) to donate to the food pantry the evening of.

Want to know more about Serving Locally?

We have partnered with several organizations in the Calvert County area to show the love of Christ to people in need. Our hope and goal is that the Calvert Grace church family would find time to serve with these organizations, coming alongside them as we, together, serve the least of these.
