The Compass overnight winter trip group will depart in church vans from Calvert Grace at 2 PM Sunday, February 19 and return around 9 PM Monday, February 20. The cost of the trip includes overnight lodging at Canaan Valley’s resort lodge, tubing passes for Sunday night (8-10 PM), ski/snowboard lift tickets and rentals (optional, see registration below) for all day pass Monday, as well as dinner on Sunday night, breakfast and lunch on Monday. Students will purchase Monday evening meals on their own on the way back home. We will have adult/parent chaperones accompanying students at a 1:5 ratio who are able to also help with ski/snowboard lessons on Monday and who will be building relationships with the students throughout the trip.
