This past Saturday, our youth hosted their annual Gigantic Yard sale here at Grace. Over forty-five vendors filled our parking lot as our youth worked to raise money for their summer conferences and mission trips. The day was filled with shopping, face painting, fellowship, and of course, food! Preparations started at 6:30AM sharp with students setting up tables, food stations, moon bounces, and moving all the furniture they could handle. They continued to serve our community during the day, keeping a joyful spirit for the duration! It’s always a great encouragement to see our students working hard, being joyful, and loving the people around them.

This year, the funds that were raised during the yard sale will help to send over twenty students to Toronto for a summer mission trip, a trip that will allow us to assist with a couple church plants in the Toronto area and teach our students how to share the gospel to different cultures. Money raised will also go to sending over thirty-five students to MOMENTUM Youth Conference at Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana. There, students will be challenged to grow in their faith, help serve the community of Marion, and build community with other believers.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s yard sale a huge success. Thank you to the vendors who bought spaces, to the people of our community for coming out and supporting our youth, and to the parents who worked for hours making it all possible. The whole day was such a huge blessing, from the beautiful weather to the money raised! God really is on the move with our youth here at Grace!
