Your First Time?
WELCOME!

You will find a loving, encouraging, warm, friendly atmosphere here at Grace – from your first time in the door and for as long as you choose to be a part of our community.  It is our privilege to have you as a part of God’s community of people who want to learn about, live for and follow Jesus.

You should expect our WORSHIP to be God-focused, and everything we are about to be based on GOD’S WORD.  It is our desire that everyone come to KNOW Jesus, GROW in Jesus, SERVE for Jesus and GO and share Jesus with others!  We would welcome you joining us on our journey.

Our typical Sunday morning we have two worship services, at 8:15 and 10:45.  Both services are the same.  Between services, we have bible discussions and teaching for adults, youth and children.  These run from 9:45-10:30.  In addition to regular Sunday services, we have activities on Wednesday evenings for children, middle school youth and adults; for our high school youth, we have Sunday evening activities.

You can find more information on what we offer for our different age groups by clicking here: CHILDREN, YOUTH or ADULTS.

For those of you with younger children, to help ease your mind on what to expect on your first Sunday visit, you can find more information below.

PARENTS WITH CHILDREN

We are PASSIONATE about children!  Opportunities for children to learn about Jesus abound at Grace!  Whether in the nursery, Sunday School classes, Children’s Church, Awana, or other special programs, we take joy in loving our children for the Lord.  We love the energy, excitement, honesty and enthusiasm they bring to us. God’s charge to us to raise up our children in the “ways of the Lord” is something we take seriously and seriously love to do.

Our Mission

At Grace, we believe that by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with our children at an early age, in a loving, caring and safe environment, we will equip them to be His followers all of the days of their lives.

Opportunities for children abound at Grace! Whether in the nursery, Sunday School classes, Children’s Church, Awana, or other special programs, we take joy in loving our children for the Lord.

What Should I Expect For Our First Sunday Visit?

First, know that we work to provide a safe environment for our children. All our children’s workers are screened and undergo a background check. We also strive to provide workers in your child’s classroom that will become familiar to your children over the year, both to create a more comfortable environment for them, and to develop relationships with them individually.

Sunday Mornings with Children

  • Check-In and Pick-up:

We have a check-in desk on the first floor of the children’s wing (See Map). This is where you will check-in your children, from infants up to five (5) years of age. You and your children will be issued matching labels, and directed to the appropriate classroom where you will be greeted by one of our friendly volunteers. One label will be placed on your child’s back, one on the classroom roster, and one will remain with you. This remaining label must be shown when picking up your children. Children 1st – 4th grade are taken to their respective rooms by parents and must be picked up by parent or approved guardian.

  • 8:15 Service:

Infants through kindergarteners are cared for in our children’s wing. Elementary age children (1st grade and up) attend the worship service.

  • 9:00 Merry Music Makers:

During the school year, our children’s choir, the Merry Music Makers, rehearses each Sunday at 9:00 a.m. All elementary aged children are welcome to attend. (Participating children attending the 8:15 service quietly leave the service at 8:55 and meet for rehearsal in the Choir Room).

  • 9:30 Sunday School:

Sunday school classes are offered for all children age 2 through 5th/6th (Middle school/high school classes on opposite wing – See Map).

  • 10:45 Service:

Infants through kindergarteners are cared for in our children’s wing. Just before the Message, we will dismiss our 1st through 4th graders for a special Children’s Church, held upstairs in the children’s wing, for all who wish to attend.
