The Holy Spirit – Power Revealed
God has given us the Holy Spirit to be used by God to reveal Himself to others. This week God’s Word encourages us to live in the fullness of His power within us – being Spirit-filled, fruit-producing, followers of Jesus.
The Holy Spirit – Power Restarted
The Holy Spirit didn’t just bring us back to God, He also gives us the power to live for God each day. He is active in us, revealing God’s Truth’s for our life, guiding us along God’s way for our life, and bringing us God’s comfort and healing for our life. Join us this week as we are reminded of the power of the Holy Spirit within us.
The Holy Spirit – Power Restored
We come to God powerless to restore our relationship with Him. Through our faith in Jesus, however, we have our power restored to not only have a relationship with God, but to be used by Him to draw others to Jesus, and to thrive in all the ups and downs of life in this world. Join us Sunday as we hear from God about His power for us through the Holy Spirit.
Jesus at the Throne
Upon Jesus’ resurrection and ascension, God seated Him at his right hand, giving Him all authority on heaven and on earth. But what does that actually mean? What is Jesus doing as He rules and reigns at God’s right hand? Join us as we hear how Jesus continues His work today through the church – how through His authority, we are sent into the world to proclaim His victory over sin and death.
Jesus on the Cross
As a culmination of God’s eternal plan for salvation, Jesus climbed the hill at Calvary; God in the flesh died for our sins on the cross. It is through Christ’s work on the cross that we can find hope in the life after this. While Christ’s work on the cross was complete, He continues to work through us today. With our life in eternity secured, we can find our true identity, true peace, and our true calling in life.
Jesus in the Flesh
Jesus, the Word of God, became man while still remaining fully God. In this mysterious union, he lived on earth, experiencing our pains, temptations, and desires. Throughout his life, he remained sinless, offering grace and truth to the world around him. Ultimately, He offered himself as a sacrifice for our sins as God’s ultimate example of grace and salvation for the world. Join us this week as we are reminded that we are bearers of God’s message of His grace and truth, in Jesus.
God is Perfect
To know how things are supposed to be, we turn to the Creator of all that is. He is Perfect in all His ways. Join us this week as we consider some of the ways in which God’s Perfection gives us help for doing life better here on earth today, and hope for a perfect life with Him in His heavenly kingdom to come.
God is Sovereign
God is Sovereign over all of creation. We can walk confidently with God, because as the Maker of all things, He alone knows how His creation was designed to work. Though the world tempts us to walk in its ways, we can find peace in walking with God, because He is over all of the world. Join us this week as we are reminded, we are children of the King.
God is Relational
Our God is not a distant deity to be fear and appeased. Our God is near, and relational. Jesus describes God as “our Father”. Our God is the Perfect Father. He showers us with compassion; guides us through life in love; and willingly sacrifices Himself for us – all for the purpose of calling us home and receiving our glory for eternity. Join us as we hear from, and praise, God – our Father – this Sunday.
Three in One
The more we know of God, the more we desire God. To know our God in all His fullness, we need to know Him as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Join us this Sunday as we begin our summer message series: Father, Son, Holy Spirit.
