He Is Worthy of Our Life
God’s Word reminds us this morning, the Good news of the Great Joy of Jesus was not just a celebration of the birth of another baby boy. This was the Son of God – God Himself. As we celebrate Jesus’ birth this morning, we will be reminded we can rejoice in our faith in Him, because He is the Author of our creation and all creation.
He Is Worthy of All Blessing, Honor & Glory
The birth of Jesus was not just for us, it was for all who would believe – people from every tribe and language and people and nation. In Jesus all the brokenness of the world is made whole – all the brokenness of our lives is healed. All the world will be made new again through Jesus. He Is Worthy of all our blessing, honor and glory as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Join us as we retell the Christmas story and celebrate the birth of our Lord. He Is Worthy!
Live Worthy of His Light
It was not a coincidence that the birth of Jesus was at night – it set the contrast of what His life would represent to us against the darkness of the world. Paul reminds us this morning that, as followers of Jesus we have the light of God revealed in our hearts through Jesus. His light reveals His love for us, and reminds us of His presence with us. Live worthy of His Light this Christmas – let others know of the “good news of great joy” we have received in Jesus.
Live Worthy of Our Lord
Jesus gives us reason for joy because the darkness of our world has been lifted through His presence with us – His Holy Spirit in us. We no longer need to stumble through life, trying to make the best of things. We now know the Way, the Truth and the Life, that enables us to live the way God intended for us to live – to live for His glory. Join us as God’s Word builds us up in our call to live worthy of Jesus.
Live Worthy of His Gospel
As a member of God’s family, our mission is to bring the gospel of Jesus – the “good news” that brings eternal salvation – to the world. The apostle Paul encourages us this morning to stand firm – united – in the truth of the gospel; confident that the God Who raised Jesus from the dead is the same God who will enable us to withstand whatever the world may bring our way as we live out our faith in, and for, Jesus.
Live Worthy of His Calling
Our invitation to place our faith in Jesus as our Lord and Savior is unlike any invitation we get in the world. It is a Holy calling. It is a calling to a new way of life – a new way of viewing life – a new way of doing life. Our calling in Jesus is both unearned and completely undeserved. Join us this morning as God’s Word reminds us what a life lived worthy of that calling will look like.
