Now we know dimly, but in that day of our homegoing, we will know fully the glory of God, and of His eternal Kingdom that is guaranteed to us by our faith in Jesus. As we begin another year here on God’s earth, we are one year closer to our eternal home in heaven above thanks to God’s faithfulness in Jesus. Jesus promises us our eternity is secured and assured by our faith in Him. He will never leave us, nor forsake us, forever.
The Promise of Freedom
From Slave to Free
Our freedom in Christ is freedom from everything that would enslave us in this world – fear, finances, politics, poverty, social isolation, hatred, bitterness – you name it. The things we pursue in this world take us captive to the temporary, passing things of life. Thanks to God having sent Jesus as our Savior, we are no longer bound to the things of this world. If we live for Jesus, in accordance with His calling on our life, we will know a freedom unlike any “freedom” man has ever known in this world.
