Be United

Dario Agnolutto • 1 Corinthians 1:10-17, 3:1-7

From the series: Dear Church

Divisions had come about in the Corinthian church as various groups rallied around different ministers of the Gospel, instead of rallying around the Cross of Jesus. It is easy for us to get caught up in the following people or programs in ministry instead of Jesus. We can develop jealousies and find ourselves in the midst of strife any time we begin to associate our faith-walk with anyone, or anything, other than Christ. The solution is not isolation from Godly leaders, ministries, or God’s wise counsel. Through one another in the church we come to KNOW Jesus, GROW in our faith in Jesus, SERVE others for Jesus and are able to GO share Jesus with the world. We need one another to be all God desires His church to be. The solution is recognizing that, as God’s church, our calling is to follow Jesus, and our mission is to live for, proclaim and call others to Jesus – not to our people or programs.
