Be On Your Guard

Dario Agnolutto • 1 Corinthians 10:12-13

From the series: Dear Church

We are never more vulnerable than when we believe we are most strong!  As Paul addresses the many vices of the Corinthian people, he warns those who think he is talking to everyone else not to get too cocky.  The failures of those around us all come from temptations that are common to all of us!  Paul is not, however, suggesting it is inevitable that we will fall, because he reminds us when we are tempted God always provides us a way of escape.  We need to be living with an awareness of both the temptations of the world and the pathway out provided by God when they come.
