The Great Co-Mission

January 17, 2021

Trevin Hoekzema • Matthew 28:19-20, Acts 1:8

From the series: To the Ends of the Earth

The thought of sharing our faith with others can be uncomfortable for many of us. We are not certain we have all the answers, not sure how others will respond, or perhaps just don’t feel like we are well-enough equipped to share Who Jesus is to us and the world. This morning’s message is one of encouragement and a reminder that Jesus did not command us to make disciples on our own. He didn’t send us on a solo mission for the gospel. In fact, our call is to be on a “Co-mission”, with Jesus, in the power of His Holy Spirit. We can trust when the opportunity God provides us to share His word intersects with the power of His Holy Spirit in us, we will be disciple-makers where ever we are.
