Local and Global Outreach
GO! SHARE THE GOOD NEWS
Let God use you! Find an opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus in our community, state, nation and world.
Jesus Christ has given us the best possible gift: a relationship with God. In response to his grace, we are committed to spreading his Good News both locally and globally. We reach out to those in need in our own neighborhoods, in nearby cities, throughout our nation, and across the world.
We believe it is the responsibility of the church to equip the body of Christ to make disciples, plant new churches, support and pray for those who are serving, and to send workers out into the field.
Local Outreach Ministry Opportunities
“We Serve Because He Serves.” Knowing that Christ first came to serve, we believe as imitators of Christ we are called to display His love through both word and deed. At its core, Grace Serves involves ordinary people, empowered by God’s spirit, who are obedient to God’s command to love and serve others. Our vision is for every single person to be motivated, encouraged, and equipped to reach out to be the hands and feet of Christ to our neighbors and community. Whether you’re an individual, a family, or a life group, it’s as simple as allowing God to use you to serve others. While we will coordinate various Grace Serves events throughout the year, we want to encourage everyone to let us know of an opportunity for Grace to Serve. Contact Pastor Dario with your ideas.

Safe Nights is a ministry in Calvert County to provide warm shelter and food for the homeless during the coldest months of the year. Each year we are privileged to be able to host a week of “safe nights” at our church between Christmas and New Years. Many positions are needed for the week: food preparation; serving breakfast and evening meals; assembling bag lunches; adult monitors; cleaning teams; laundry team; set-up and tear down; transporting supplies to the next church. Adults and families are welcome to serve. Contact Karl and Jackie Amick

Global Outreach Ministry Opportunities
Outreach Missions Team
Grace currently supports a number of missionaries and church planters around the world. We have a wonderful group of individuals committed to missions locally and globally and leading the congregration to engage in missions in a deeper way. Contact Pastor Joe Couch if you'd like to know more about his team or get involved in our outreach programs.
A short-term mission trip will strengthen and challenge your faith and expand your view of the world. It will also give you an opportunity to serve those in need, share the gospel to those who need to hear it, and encourage different ministry partners and missionaries. Each year we provide various mission opportunities in the US or around the world. We pray you consider taking a step of faith to share the Good News with a mission trip.
In addition to supporting a number of missionaries in the heart of Africa, we are also partnered with Encompass World Partners and the Grace Brethren Church of Chad to assist in advancement of the Gospel in the country of Chad.
- Medical Coalition: We are helping build new medical centers where no medical care currently exists and training nurses who will staff these centers.
- Education Coalition: We are helping train teachers to become certified teachers for the public education system in Chad.
*For more information about these coalition efforts, ways to give, or opportunities to serve, please contact Pastor Dario Agnolutto.
